What did the study say cheating was defiend as?

What was the sample size?

And can that statistic be broken down further into, say income brackets?

cheating means sexual acts, not just sex

study was done on 5000 couples of varying ethnic/financial backgrounds

it basically was to prove that humans by nature are a polygamist species.

It poves that about 1/4 of males and about 1/2 of females are at least...

There was an interesting study done on birds (which I listend to on the radio one day) which showed that some birds or a species (about about 1/3 of males and 1/2 of females - if im remember correctly) Would not chose a partner for life, but instead would sleep around. while the rest of the population would remain faithful to their life partner.

There was a deffinate split in the population of birds (I think it was robins) acording to the behaviour. Its kinda intresting to see that the same thing is going on with people. I wonder if its the same with any other animals?

sounds true, i was watching oprah and there was these guy that have all cheated, one guy started cheating 3days after they got married
