if its a question of where to go on a day where it just dumped overnight.....blackcomb IMO. but whistler especially the symphony amphitheatre bowl is great the day or a couple days after a storm for finding soem pow in the trees....

Blackcomb for the days after the storm and or when it's cloudy. Whistler when it's sunny and fresh has fallen.

Bluebird and fresh: Whis but it can get hella windy up on the top
Grey and fresh: Blackcomb for the sick glades and glacier chair.
Park: Backcomb for sure the chair is right over the big park so you can usually watch some people throw down, lapping the mini park on light pow days is fun 2.

+ karma for paying attention in the last 3 years. Obviously the Peak to Peak takes 10 minutes and your at the other mountain (at least it feels like it, never actually timed it...) But with the Olympics coming to Whistler and the Peak to Peak being a Tourist attraction and brand new, good luck with the lines. Blackcomb's parks are SUPER sick, as said before I would go to Blackcomb if there isn't any pow, but if there is Pow go to Whistler. But I would reccomend that which ever one you choose you take the peak to peak over to the other one at least once to check it out.

I kinda like whistler park better, just the features and its flow. id say blackcomb has better tree skiing, but with harmony peak and flute, whis has better pow.

if you want some crazy, high exposure alpine lines i would go with blackcomb. chainsaw ridge has some of the steepest and craziest runs i have ever skied in my life, and spankys is just the shit. i also prefer blackcomb's tree skiing over whistler, but VD chutes, on a sick pow day, is fucking insane. as for park skiing, i prefer the whistler park because it is less crowded and smaller features, but blackcomb has one of the most badass parks ever. i think whistler has more "secret pow stashes" then blackcomb does, though.

cant go wrong with either mountain, they are both amazing. People always say blackcomb has better trees. But with VD, harveys, robertsons, kybers, etc on whistler i would disagree.

Whistler in the morning, Blackcomb in the afternoon. Follow the sun. I've been doing this without the peak 2 peak for years...

And by the way, nothing compares to Peak chair. period.

This is a pretty legit bump actually.

I am a Blackcomb guy for life. 7th is a game changer. If you need trees you have fraggle / crystal and 7th trees. For bowl skiing there is ACRES in Spanky's, Opal, and Lakeside (which is the best inbounds skiing I have ever seen and might be the best in north america). That doesn't even take into account chainsaw which is often the deepest spot on either mountain under the cornice. There are plenty of hidden or semi-hidden gems too. Lots of inbounds mini golf too. I couldn't care less about the park, but it's definitely high standard.

There is like 7 trams in total, over 3 km's each way.That works out to about a tram just under a km each.

Harmony is soooo good on a pow day, but Blackcomb has a better park and you gotta love the shoots off of the peak T-Bar.  You can always find some nice little huck spots.  I can't say which is better I love it all.

blackcomb park is way sicker and i spent most of my time there, but the whistler park was alot of fun, with fun little jibs and jumps, pretty unique.
