MTV needs to get their shit together.

What the hell is wrong with them? Going from one of the best channels ever to the biggest piece of shiut available now.

They have gone from shows like Yo! MTV Raps, Headbangers Ball, I Wanna Be A VJ, and even TRL back in the day to Date My Mom, Roomraiders, Laguna Beach, and other worthless crap that has nothing to do with music.

Then there is the utter horseshit that was the Live 8 coverage. Their meeting on how to cover it was probably something like this...

-"Bob, I had the best idea last night"
"Oh really, what was that Bob?"
-"Instead of putting two different shows on MTV and VH1. We could put the same show on one channel to make sure everyone can miss the good acts!"
"Thats brilliant!"
-"And on top of that, we can put in anchors who have no idea what they are talking about and weren't even alive for the first Live Aid on screen so they can ramble over every good song"
"Genious! And don't forget about cutting the Pink Floyd reunion early and only showing two songs."

If it took me two-just two-seconds to think of putting the England show on one channel and the Philly show on the other, so what kind of dumbasses are working for them?

They have erased every good show on the channel, and I am sick of it.

Well I'll tell ya what. CMT has it's shit together right now. Crossroads is on with Dave Matthews and Emmylou Harris and Trey's on stage as it Brady Blade. They got their shit straight on.

the concept of them cutting off pink floyd to show...i dunno, whoever it was, is just stunning. mtv is just awful now. and even mtv2 which has more music is just awful mainstream rap 24/7

Im in Israel now, and the other MTV channels. like MTV Base and Europe are sick. the best music, lot of good shit. its so tight. and the shows are hilarious. like better than Jackass. shit they wont put on regular cable tv. in the US.

MTV has sucked for a while now, and i was in aw of their horrible coverage of live 8, i also saw the thing with trey and dave matthews, it was pretty cool

my favorite show is wildin' out. After seeing hte commercials I thought it was gay for sure so i wouldn't watch it. but then a couple nights ago i was bored and it was on so i ended up watching it and laughed my ass off...
