I thought that everyone was over skis looking stupid and buying them for how they proform. I think those skis sound stupid with two edges but the graphics play no role in what skis are good.

Seeing as I havent broken a ski, and dont plan to, the triplet idea is pointless. If you think about it, they people at Atomic are promoting the idea of buying skis for graphics with the idea you can change your topsheets around because the skis are all the same.

i don't think this is a stupied idea any more i did but after i stayed on NS for a while longer it gets old hearing people bitch about how they totally destroyed one of there skis and how they have one or something like that

one question, where the fuck are u going to be able to by a pair of bindings and then just buy one more for your 3rd ski, my book it is just a stupid idea, i mean thats why they have warntys u break one or both send them back and u get a whole new pair, i would want two brand new skis instead of one brand new one and one beat one. plus it be hard skiing on one ski that has it's edges semi bad and then have one ski that is completely sharp...

I think it is a cool idea where if you break one you can be right back just grab anothe but like ststed above where the fuck are you gonna get three bindings. If you break one you'll have to get the other mounted. One beat ski and one good shouldn't matter too much because they're made for urban only not all mountain or even park. But then again I wouldn't buy new skis just for urban. I'll use my old beat ones or some shit I got at a yard sale

you mount 2 skis and then the third without bindings and then when you break one of your skis put the bindings from the broken ski on the new ski

^exactly..that's what the gimmick of the whole thing is. You are supposed to pre-drill the 3rd ski so it's ready to go.
As well, you get 3 people together, buy 2 pairs of skis....split them. That way 3 people get a good deal, and Atomic has way more people riding their gear.

if they made skis as good as they made snowboards, people wouldnt be bitching about them. mind you, ive never actually used atomic skis, so im just going off what others say. im tired of people making that argument. core shmore; if you make good skis youre going to make good money...eventually...maybe. the third ski is about as useful as my third nipple

they do look awsome and are not only for urban- they're an all mountain ski that rip anywhere. the 3rd ski idea is a wicked idea because it should fix the problem of so many kids bitching about how they broke the edge of their ski and the 'core' company won't replace. needless to say i don't think anyone will be breaking edges on this thing.

Atomic has always been a good quality racing company that is finally breaking into the free ski market..give them a break. I demoed the urban triplets last season and they were great.

you're bitching on atomic? "I've never actually ridden any....." so shut the fuck up. Truth is, foam core or not, they are one of the toughest, stiffest skis out there. I broke a pair of mad trix and still havn't broken my atomics, so until you know what you're talking about, keep it quiet

there is nothing wrong with atomic. once you people get over yourselves trying to be cool with the lastest armada or lines, which, granted, i know nothing about whether they are good skis or not, you will finally see that the atomics are actually good, because you will try them..

my tweaks are the shit, and my ONLY complaint, is that i wish they were a bit wider for powder...

FYI, you can buy a set of three Atomic bindings for the Trips and spread out the wear or mix and match. Also, they are incredibly lightweight, not bulky at all. Go to a shop and just pick up ANY Atomic, they are easily the lightest skis on the market, not to mention the most durable.
