Salomon Pro Model- What to do?

So I found some brand new in my size from '04 for $300 and....I bought them. It may have been a stupid, spur of the moment thing, but whatever, please read on. Anyway, I know of a place where i could have gotten the '05 spaceframes for $400. The shop I bought them from has a really lax return policy, so I could take them back anytime in the next week and get a full refund no questions asked. Do you think I could have gotten the '05s for around the same price and am I and idiot for paying $300 for them?

no man, you are good. There are only SLIGHT improvements on the new Pro Model, and the new ones are definitely not worth the $100 difference. Keep the ´04s

Hey idiot, he's talking about Salomon Pro Model Boots, not skis. So either you're lying about talking to a Salomon rep, or that rep doesn't know what he's talking about.

Just to make things clear, I am talking about the boots here. The one's I bought are the '04 Pro Models (you know, the green ones). The 05's are different with the space frame cutout stuff on the side. So, with that being said, I paid $300. I Know of a place where I can get the 05's for $400. Do you think if I just return the ones I got I could buy '05s a little closer to the season for about the same price?

I have the 04 (Green) pro models. Do you really want some kind of honey-comb shit that could buckle or break? Not that looks matter that much but The green 04's are in my opinion, the best looking ski boots ever made. The 05's look like something a 15 year old chick would wear to an 80's dance club..

I hope I didn't offend anyone who likes 80's dancing...would be cool to see someone showing up in a pair of ski boots though...
