who makes that one up? how do they know the importance of a particular site? i mean, my blog is a zero? does anyone know how this is measured? is it a conspiracy to make you want to go on google, just to be able to feel good that you are on a page rated 8/10 by its own toolbar?

This actually has to do alot with my job so I know a fair bit. It is basically decided upon how many links to that site people have posted on theirs. There are a whole bunch of different kinds of links and the relativeness of the topic of the site also has to do with it.

alright, guess that makes sense. in other news, the new Google tool bar has a spell check you can use on newschoolers, or anywhere else you type.... think about it kids....
