yeah, I like patrollers, at one of my home fields they are all sweet, I know most of them coz dad used to train them and they're real cool to hang with and they take me backcountry and teach me about shit that kills you and stuff. On the other side of the mountain at my other hill they are absolute total freakin fags, I hate them, you're nothing but nice to them and they treat jibbers like crap, and if you're going fast in the back country they're like rrrrrr, don't go so fast rrrrr, and stuff and it's like oh come of it dick, I own this hill as much as you do, I'm not on the ski feild, I'm not using the lifts so piss off, rrrrr, I don't like the patrollers on that field, rrrr, hehe, must move to Whistler.

i was just like wow man im def gonna go to whistler in my 4th year but then i herad all this shit man about the ski patrollers and shit and im just like what don´t go fast don't build your own jumps, jeezez, if i can´t do that i´d rather ski in europe. what´s all these rules, skiing should be free, is it really a big problem?

2 years ago we were just riding down this flat trail and one of my friends was going switch. we passed out a patroller and he screamed 'TURN AROUND' so we both jumped around so he was riding straight the other was riding switch. It was pretty funny. For the most part they hate us at our hill cuz we jump/jib everything we see including their shacks and poles.

i didn't wanna read this whole thread....so i'll just post fomr the topic.....um, yea my dads a patroller and surprisingly i was tlaking to him about telling the people at the hill to make a terrain park and shit and all the patrolers are down for it. most of them think the shit we do in the air is sick, not to mention terrain parks = more kids = bigger profit. they don't all hate us, of course there are always a couple assholes...but most of them are just doing what other people tell them to do. like the people on the radios and shit. and if they don't X your jump then they can be responcible for someone getting hurt on it and might lose their jobs....if you get what i'm saying. i met some really cool partollers once who hit the kicker up with us and X'd off a different kciker so they could keep hitting it with us. that was pretty cool. but back to the subject, if you treat them with respect....they will treat you with respect back.....they're normal people who love skiing/snowboarding, thats why they have the job....they aren't here to stop our sport.......just to supervise it and keep shit safe.....

You'd be surprised how much additional respect you can get when you're wearing an instructors jacket. (Noone says anything when you do inverts in a non invert park) I suggest you all buy/steal an instructors jacket once in your life.

Most of the ski patrolers up in tahoe suck. They just get made fun of all the time. It kinda scares me though, thinking that if you get hurt those are going to be the ones taking you down in the sled. I would rather ski down on one leg with a concusion rather than get pulled in a sled behind them.
