First off Pink Floyd never made a song called "Darkside of the moon" They made an album called "Dark Side Of The Moon", which has a song on the album called Brain Damage, with a lyric that says "I'll see you on the dark side of the moon".
Second, Stevie Ray Vaughn didn't do Voodoo Chile, or All Along the Watch Tower, The Jimi Hendrix Experience did, along with Bob Dylan on the 2nd one.
Third, all those songs are not nearly the best songs by any of those artists. That's not just opinion, it's musical fact.
You need to get yourself a taste in music, and not just what they play at your high school dances and on the radio.

They kick ass if you're a 13 year old girl with no taste in music.
Steppenwolf has like 10 better songs than magic carpet ride. Sure it's good, but there are better.

Jimi Hendrix - 1983: A merman I should turn to be
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother Suite, or Echoes, or Green Is The Color, One of these days, or Rain In The Country.
I haven't decided which is best of those.
Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song or Going To California or When The Levee Breaks
Beatles - Across The Universe, Blue Jay Way, or While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesdays Gone
Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter, Sympathy For The Devil, You Can't Always Get What You Want (although overplayed on radio for the last 2, they still get on the list for their greatness)
David Bowie - Lady Stardust, Moonage Daydream, Five Years (basically all of Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust)
I'm not going to bother typing out The Doors, CSN/Y, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, and numerous others, this is taking far too long to do.
These are just my opinion I guess, but I think they are the best by each.

most of you are sticking to classic rock - there's a lot of 90s rock that has officially become classic that we're leaving out:
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Pearl Jam - Jeremy, Once, Even Flow
Smashing Pumpkins - Zero
Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song
a bad day'll make you really notice ones this good and that'll make things a little better understood - blackalicious

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying? But do you believe that Lenny Kravitz deserves to be in a list with 'best rock songs of all times' while leaving out bands such as
aeorosmith, dire straits, the rolling stones, jimi hendrix, the who, velvet underground, queen, the eagles, tom petty, van halen and stevie wonder?
If Lenny Kravitz deserves a spot above all those bands then we might as well throw good charolette and simple plan up there too.
