SIMS ad campaign

Has anyone seen the new ad campaign that sims snowboards has put out. It totally bashes Skiing,
It has a picture of some old wood snow boards on the back of a recent snow board pulication, and The quote says if it weren't for these you'd be reading a f**king skiing magazine. I think its a little crazy for them to bashing us, when they wouldn't be snow boarding if it weren't for skiing and skateboarding. Skiers were the originators of sliding on snow... and they have the audacity to say were ripping trends and tricks from their sport. We need to stand up and prove to these close minded fucks that our sport is on the up and up with ab unlimited variation of tricks and style, unlike the limitations a snowboard presents. Damn the Man....Stand up for your rights.

there wouldnt be shaped skiis or twintips if there were now snowboards, but i also dislike the ad.

I haven't seen the ad. But i would even react to it in any way, it would just make them happy to see their add is getting noticed. SIMS is in a bad financial situation so they are trying anything to get some attention. I heard that they still owe money to the WSSF organization for last year's title sponsorship....

A lot of skiers are trying too hard to emulate snowboarders. I dont condone the sims ad but we should try to originate not emulate.

I am so sick and tired of everyone says skiing owes snowboarding so much. Bull fucking Shit! They owe us everything, including an appology for ruining the slopes. Most snowboarders are fucking reatrded little pot heads that arn't coordinated enough to ski. They see all this media propaganda crap and think oh man snowboarding is soo cool. I mean take the movie extreme ops for example or xxx that portray snowboarding as being the cool thing. If it wasn't for skiing there wouldn't even be snowboarding. Fuck em all I'm movin' to taos.

well, i dont know how this would stand up with the majority of snowboarders, but my friends who snowboard hate sims and think the ad's are stupid and hypocritical if that is the right word

yeah, some of my snowboarding friends think Sims are shit and should be relegated to the shelves of Wal Mart.
