Driving High

There's a huge thread on driving drunk and i wanted to ask a question but it'll get lost amongst the angry newschoolers, which is fine, because they are angry at the dude who says he drives drunk all the time.
ANYWAYS.
Who here drives high a lot? I smoke twice to three times a day and stay active and doing things so i drive around stoned all day and night pretty much. I find it has little to no effect on how safe i drive. When im stoned i can stay alert and pay attention and i dont lose my motor skills. It's nothing like alcohol so what are your feelings on driving high? I feel that if you are experienced with pot and you don't act stupid and let your mind run away from you(ie. getting the giggles, staring at shit for long periods of time, freakin out) then you can drive.

I smoked a bit when I was a freshman, got high a fair amount of times, So I have 'balls, but It ain't for me, and I can't see driving high as a safe thing to do.

and don't even try to pull the "well you must not have gotten high then" thing. It's annoying that some people think that everybody that smokes and gets high loves it.

This guy is right.

I get high. I get drunk. I enjoy both, although I've never tried anything harder (like shrooms). But I'm not hopped up on something 24/7 like some of you guys.

Maybe it's just me, but I started feeling shitty when I was relying on booze to enjoy myself at parties, etc. I still get drunk occasionally, but not more than once every few weeks, if that. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I relied on weed to get me through my everyday life.

Now I don't know how I managed to drink as much as I did. I'm talking like a fifth on friday, a fifth on saturday, and sometimes even on sunday (despite classes). I would get fucking trashed every time I wanted to have fun and it started to define who I was.

no man, people that are smoke all the time do it because that's what they do, they dont stop because they dont have a reason to, but if they needed to or wanted to, they could stop easily. Unless you have like a obsessive compulsive disorder mental addictions are bullshit. I cant stop eating peanut butter! OMG! Help, im an addict! WTF?

I work 40+ hours a week and make mad loot. I smoke a lot because I can not because i need to.
