Problems with installing adobe premiere.

I have now downloaded three different versions of premiere, from three unique sources. Two from limewire, one that was an actual trial from the adobe site. They have all been zipped, and I have run into the same problems each time after extracting. I will open the folder and try run the setup, and this pops up:
"The system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows spplications. Choose 'Close' to terminate this application."
Although even if I click ignore (the second option), nothing happens. So if anyone can point me in the direction of fixing this, or to getting premiere in a failafe way, please let me know.
p.s. I used the search bar.

before you tried installing the 2nd and third time, did you delete any files that it may have put in the program files/adobe/premiere folder... thats is if it even started installing things

No, each time I could not even begin to install. The notice would come up and I could not do anything more.
