Replying to think you respect skiing?

I wonder if anyone is as upset with skiing as I am. I realize as everyone else does that it is at the highest point it ever has been, but I wish to pose a question: is skiing skiin, or is it snowboarding on skis? I tweak grabs, I don't ski like a gorilla or mike nick or tanner hall or a snowboarder. I ski because I am a skier, and that is what seperates us from snowboarders. Why try to be a snowboarder on skis, just start snowboarding, the thing that seperates us from snowboarding is the ability to tweak the crist out of grabs and style two skis instead of one board. Skiers like tanner are making skis look like a snowboard, and that is fine, but nutt up. I think everyone should take a good look at skiing ,and realize where it is going. Look at any video from this year, how many tweaked out tail grabs do you see, just about none. Everyone is doing subtle grabs and that is fine, but skiing needs to get back to our roots. Not pink spandex and daffys but for god sakes, tweak your grab and be happy you are a skier not hoping to ski like a snowboarder. If we hope to be snowboarders where is this sport gonna go?
just some thoughts but I hope skiing doesn't become snowboarding because I love skiing, and I respect snowboarding for what it is, but I am a fuckin skier and I god damn it I ski.
