alright i can get either one but i have no idea wich to get. the games for ps2 are amzing and the skiing game is coming out. but the graphics for xbox are amazing and its a computer and most likely they will come out with some decent games, so help me out here which one should i pick.

I'd say PS2...it has more game out for one, and the controller for the X-box is way, way to big...plus jonny mosely's mad trix is comin out.

very tough decision. I dont really know what games are coming out for x-box but its graphics look better and i think there is a broadband connection so you could play internet games. PS2 does have the skiing game though

and sorry for the second post but i dont care to much what sive the controler is i jst like it when all he controls are in just the right place and that it sits in you hand right. like if you ever play the original nintendo for a long time my hands hurt

ps2 is giong to have a broadband connection soon though, and id get ps2 even though that amped game for x box looks sweet, id probably play that more than jonny moseley if they were both on playstation

yeah i was thinking more along the lines of ps2, the only reason i wanted xbox is because of amped and the hope that they might come out with some sweet games. but ps2 has the sweet games out right now so why not get that

PS2. They have the background. And internet access is coming real soon. In fact, i believe broadband can be connected to already. Don't quote me tho.

A friend of mine was a video game tester for ign.com and has played pretty much every game for every system..most of which haven't come out yet. (beta version of mosely was pretty well done, but not quite as well done as coolboarders 2001 or the shaun palmer snowboarding game..) Anyways, he told me to go with the PS2. Xbox is good...but the games so far aren't as much fun as the ps2. And the broadband connection is sweet. I haven't tried it yet, but he said playing tony 3 on the broadband is the most fun game he's ever played.

Game cube is for kids.

You can already play online with PS2. If you have a cable modem all you need is an ethernet adapter or something for like $40 at best buy and if not it will run you a little more. The modem Sony is putting out will prolly be cheaper.

XBOX vs PS2 Ive had a PS2 since launch and its sweet. Ive never really been a gamer until PS2 came out, it seriously made me like games more. Sony has a good history for developing good games, not just good looking games. Soon PS2 graphics will begin to look better when programmers start to learn the code better. Im not a fanboy of PS2 so Im not gonna be really biased but Im just not feelin XBOX. Most ppls feelings are that XBOX is not gonna live up to the hype and PS2 will still be king even after gamecube debuts. Check out the release calendar for XBOX games and PS2 and see what you like better. For me graphics do not make me buy systems, games do, and the 3 new systems all have excellent graphics, so which one you pick will not be like PS1 vs Dreamcast. For me I feel systems have reached a good enough standard of graphics so it will be fun on either system.

alright, i've had a japanese gamecube since 3 weeks after it was released. Let me tell you - this thing is fucking incredible. My friend picked up an xbox today and it's not even close to the quality of the gamecube. I have pikmin and wave race and both are excellent games. Pikmin is the most addictive game ever made!

I know most people thing the GC is gonna be a kid's system, and while it may seem like a lot of their games are geared to the younger crowd, you've gotta remember that they now have exclusive rights to resident evil and they will be getting Final Fantasy 11 (the none online on) and pretty much every other big game being released.

Oh and one more thing. The GC controller may look super wack but it's _THE_ most comfortable by far!

fuck the xbox. ps2 is sooo much better than it, and with x-box, you need a 30$ upgrade for some games. the gamecube looks pretty good too.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I think Resident evil sucked. Crappy controls if you ask me. Good idea and all, but it played to awkwardly.

Yeah, the graphics will continue to evolve as the knowledge of the systems full-on capabilities become known. It's just like regular PS. When it first came out, the graphics blew compared to games that came out a few weeks ago on PS1. It's just common evolutioon of the system.

i'd go with ps2 cause jonny mosley madd trix many other games that rule. and xbox dosnt have many games that will be only for it so if u like a game that is on xbox u will most likley be able to get it on ps2. and the xbox controller is really uncomfortable and its hard to get to the buttons that u play with most. and by the way, ive played both and i kept an open mind before making a descicion

Personally i think those 2 are a little outdated. I would just get a Xbox 720 The PS3.14 or the PSPie is looking pretty good to.
