Ok, i've narrowed down my pow ski choice

I have looked at heaps of powder skis and i have decieded to get either a 179 Made'N AK or 179 Pistol/vicious( is the new vicious much stiffer?)

I like the Made'N's alot more but i dont know if its necessary as i live in New Zealand. but I might be going to Canada in jan or next year after. Also u arnt vicious cheaper. How do they compare, are the made'n harder to handle as its alot wider? If i can afford im thinking Made'N AK at this point.

given that u'll mostly be based in NZ, i'd go for the vicous given their versatilty. madens are pretty full on skis.

^true dat. but you realy cant go wrong with either, i saw tons of people riding maidens around in whistlers terrain park. but i would go with the pistols. such a nice ski

I havent. i looked at about 10 skis and those two it seemed were the best.

He might only be considering k2 because of brand limitations. I know he can't get Line in NZ because he was talking about wanting invaders but not being able to get them.

Go for the Made'n if you ask me. Just such a sick ski, and I've never felt like a ski was too wide but there were times where I wished they were wider. Plenty of people ride Made'ns on all conditions.

Maden's, Mahre uses them in the park, they're soft for buttering, and they're stable on rails and landing because of the width. I'm getting a 100 waist ski for park to.

yeah well personally i think the best ski companies at the moment are easily k2,Line,Armada, and sometimes rossignol is ok. So living in NZ counts line out, im not too keen on the JP vs Julian as its 191 and i like Made'N and Seths alot more than the BC's.
