Knitting letters?

Does anyone know how to knit letters into hats? or add like a rectangle of another color without making it too sloppy cause whenever I try it looks like shit. And I do a basic knit, pearl, knit, pearl stitching.

because I like poop.

i beg to differ^, KNITTING IS FOR THE REAL MEN. crochet sounds so french and you know whos french..weirdos, and you know who wear berets.....french. knitting was invented by a male fisherman by the way, while crocheting was invented by some taliban woman who wore shackles.

hahahah, the two people who are on he knitting team have the gay flag as their icon. and i dont know didly twat about how to knit in letters, i usually just crochet them into the item after its done.

you can either just stitch over or if you just knit in another color itd probably work you can probably find patterns online
