'A report from the British Lung Foundation found 3 cannabis joints a day caused the same damage to the linings of the airways as 20 cigarettes. Most cannabis smokers inhale the drug more deeply than tobacco and hold their breath for an average of 4 times longer, resulting in more poisonous carbon monoxide and tar entering the lungs...'
'Earlier this year a survey showed that 79% of children thought cannabis was 'safe' while only 2% understood that it could be damaging to health.'

I averaged like 3 blunts a day in whistler.. thats like 100 cigs or more???? Fuck that I smoke cigs too and 20 a day will make your lungs and throat good and soar. I'm no scientist but I'm calling BS. Plus I guess I dont just chill on the smoke and hold my breath for like a minute. This vaporizor deal sounds nice... but you dont actually blow smoke huh? I dont know...

yeah , I was just reading the article again, and I noticed it mentioned tar. Well as far as I'm aware, there aint no tar in bud, so by 'joints', they obviously refer to weed being rolled with tobacco. Well of course thats gonna fuck you up. Its like smoking a cig without the filter.

the real difference is that I hate how cigarettes smell. It sucks too because everyone I know smokes them around me and then I smell like it and I just hate it. I dont mind da ganja though. I like that smell.

man it's 4 years old... new tests find that marijuana smoking actually helps prevent lung cancer by freeing up the older cells (which are more prone to becoming cancerous) and generating fresh new ones

ya but see thier comparing 3 joints a day to a pack a day which is a pretty bad comparison since most poeple who smoke cigarettes get addicted and end up smoking 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day ive seen people that smoke 3 packs a day which is a lot worse than 3 joints a day

Thats real funny because a couple months ago they found out that marijuana actualy get RID OF cancer for ever 1.6 grams you smoke compared to a cig............
