Yeah, i am a little bitch. I've bitched out tanner, ripped on bandanas, shot down rap music in ski movies, etc. Let me explain this all to you. I lived in the ghetto for the first 8 years of my life, no shitting you. We moved out because, well no big question there, it sucked. People always being shot, stabbed, hurt somehow-not much fun. Now all these dumbass rappers talking about rollin on their 22s and thumpin their subs, its not like that at all. In the ghetto, most people are too poor to even have a car, they walked or biked. No soundsystems either. The closest to subs i saw was a guy wearin those radio headphone thingys. When we moved out to the suburbs, i loved it and instantly had an urge to learn to ski. I did, and now im here. Now skiers are thinkin ghetto is cool and shit, no its not! Its a horrible life, one i never want to return to. People insisting on being ghetto on the slopes is just fucking stupid. I always thought the ski hill was probably one of the places farthest away from the ghetto, so ive always loved being there. All these people tryin to bring it back sucks. Ski like your a skier, and be proud of it. Quit tryin to be someone that you aren't. Some may say that they can do that if they want, and they sure can but they look like fucking fags. I hope that clears up why i always have something to say to threads about ghetto skiing or tanner hall (who has talent, but puts up the biggest fucking front in the planet). I'm sorry but just because you grew up in the 'ghetto' and don't believe that it was the most luxurious living arrangements ever doesn't mean that the style of the 'ghetto' kids means the same thing. Some people just like the way things look they aren't attempting to change themselves into a ghetto kid by wearin the clothing. Well when most kids dress 'ghetto', they are being who they are. Many who listen to rap/hip hop dress what we call 'ghetto'. I don't think they are trying to act like they are from the ghetto or idealizing the ghetto (and the few that are, are stupid and ignorant...anyway), they are just dressing how the rap/hip hop culture dresses. It is no different from being part of the punk scene and spiking your hair and dying it red, and wearing a studded belt because that is who you are. I can see where you are coming from Mt_Hed, but just because they dress this so called 'ghetto' don't make good grounds for hate, most are just being who they are. Tanner Hall may be a rich white kid, but why can't he listen to rap? He likes it and is a part of it. Well I don't know if this is making sence to you, so I will stop now. I can clairfy my thoughts if needed.
