^one note, he is in such good shape, I would give him like a 60% chance of winning an 8th.
But he has children and wants to spend time with them. Ive read his book, and that guy truly is an inspiration.

just because he wins the tour de France doesn't exactly mean he's the best rider, all the other riders in the tour usually do a lot of other races which doesn't guarantee they'll be in the best shape. Lance only does the tour de france and prepares for that one race all year long so he definitely has a slight advantage over everybody else

He barely races outside the Tour and when he does compete its not to win just to practice.
