Yet another binding question

ive got s8 10's on my skis and the din goes up to 10 but i have them set on 10, i know this isnt really reccommended, but is it really that bad or will they still release/retain ok?

Usually maxing out the binding isn't a very good idea, it puts alot of stress on them. I'd keep probably keep the din two under what it's max is. So you can get s912's, or p10's, p12's. The reason I put p10's down, is because most poeple don't need a higher din to stay in their bindings with Look or Rossi.

^ I agree. I have my p10's set at 8 and I weigh 180 lbs and never had a release problem. The bindings are great, they let you run a lower DIN setting and still stay in the binding.

^ really? i run a 10 din on my p12's and on my 912's. and i never prerealse on ethier and always relase when i need to. seems to me the din on each is the same no matter what the brand.

I have the same bindings and i had them maxed out and they still released all the time. I'm 135 pounds.

well my problem is i weigh over 200 pounds (no im not a fatass, im 6'5) but i got my skis & bindings cheap.
mmm maube i'll just have them on 8.75- skier type 2 is that & type 3 is 10 according to my weight & boot sole elngth.
im getting p14s on my good skis.

my 912s are only on like 8 and work perfectly. im like 6 ft 1 ish and around 160 ish
