Need computer help....

Im trying to make a fake drive using DAEMON tools. I already did this once but i forgot what image i have to mount to the drive. Im trying to do it for Battlefield 2 and i dont know where to find an image. Can someone please help?

Is your virtual drive aready created and you just can't find the image?

What type of image is it?

I have to mount an image to the fake drive so it thinks that that disc is in there. I dont know what image i have to mount, or where to find it.

you would get the image from the CD you used to install. That or find an ISO on Limewire/Bittorent

PM me if you dont understand, you need the file extension to be .iso, .img, something like that in order for your Daemon tools to be able to mount the image, otherwise it wont work. if the file you want to mount doesnt show up in the listing for what you want to mount, then it probably wont work.

maybe you need to change the filetype underneath the open file, maybe it is only looking for the .img or something.

probably wasnt too clear, its hard to explain on a message board, but i hope it helps

well it lets me mount a bunch of different files off the cd(if i set it to show all files) but none of them say battlefield 2 when their mounted. They just say like cd-rom or something so i know theyre not the right file. Can i even do this with a game like that?

ok you made me boot my stupid windows box up to see this shit. this is what mine looks like:

you might have to setup the driver correctly so it can create the actual virtual drives. i would advise you check their site as well.
