K first of what length you all ride, I'm 5'9", I skiid last year on some 169 and they were way to short, not sure if I should jump to 186 or 178, secondly of the skis listed here, Eric Pollard Chronic, Mike Nick, Skogan Sprang, who's riding what and what do ya'll feel is the best, I like big hits in the backcountry but still like rippin shit up in tha park.

if i where you i would go with mo ship 182 or any of the 178 pro models, if you want to stick with line.
the pollard in 186 is a sick ski, but at 5'9 it might feel long, even tho it is fairly center mounted and has larger raised up tips and tails it feels shorter then it actually does when you ski it, but it might be a little long for you if you want to still rip around in the park.
But it's your call.

the new chronic wide in a 177 might be a good choice too.

The chronic wide is the same dimensions as last year's Pollard (04/05).
You are really comparing skis that are all soooooo similar. If you're 5'9", without knowing too much about what kind of skiing you primarily do, and what your personal preferences are, I would say go with 177/178, and look at the Chronic or Mike Nick. Those skis have pretty much the same flex, the pattern is useful everywhere and not too stiff to do butters and be forgiving.
