sorry man...sounds like you have a case of narrowmindedness that alot of jeep guys do.
While the general idea that jeeps are the best wheeling machines around and they have the parts market to back it up. both nissan and toyota have built platforms that turn into very capable rigs. and they have alot of aftermarket gear to build them up with. Sure you can hack up a jeep pretty quick out of spare parts...but it takes alot more then that to build up a good vehicle. there more to a good wheeling rig then how high off the groud you can get it.
there is a huge community of nissan people that build some insanely competitive rigs that rival most jeeps on the trails.
I am pretty loyal to nissan, on my 3rd pathy now and the last 2 lasted well over 300,000km. Now I admit my new r50 model (96-2004) is more of a street machine but even 100% it has kept up with builtup jeeps on the trails and gone through much more then most stock jeeps could take.
