So the US government is thinking about keeping a dna record of all newborn babies in hopes of being able to find missing children and criminals etc..
I dont know if i think its such a good idea. i mean if its used for just those purposes than i guess i dont really mind. of course id like a murderer put behind bars and someones child returned to them. but me and watching all those stupid movies. keep thinking about how it could lead to a whole new level of tracking and everyone would loose their own personal space.
besides what could happen if let say someone was murdered in an alleyway and you happened to walk by not noticing but a strand of your hair blew off and landed on the person. you could be blamed for murder wrongfully if they had nothing else to go on..
so what are your opinions/ do you think they should allow it or not?

That is true about dna being confused but im sure in time they will come up with another solution... such as tracking devices which if they find someone dead they just figure out who was in the area at the time...
also what are you worried about... whats the point of personal space... everybody fucks... everybody looks at porno (you can lie)... some people smoke... some people put heroin in there arms... the world knows this shit goes on
i believe little shit like that will go undetected... though if youre reading the turner diaries and planning on attacking government buildings you need to be tracked down ahead of time...

I could be a good idea. Its certainly more reasonable than putting a microchip/tracker inside everyone at birth. There are drawbacks, so I’m staying on neutral ground. There is a good potential breakthrough in criminal investigations efficiency. Forensic investigates sort out stray DNA (of innocent people) all the time. Of course there are the extreme possibilities of negative exploitation (ala Hollywood stuff). If they where to go for it (doubt it will happen anytime soon), they should also at the same time surgically put a tracking devices in multiple offending criminals.

Q: How many NS.com members does it take to answer a simple question?
A: 10. One to answer, three to say 'How fucking stupid are you?', three to say 'This has already been asked a thousand times', and three to say 'Who the fuck cares anyway?'
