ok... if im wrong im wrong, i drop that then...
but
We should attack Iraq. Not just because of weapons, but because the people are living in an oppresive shit hole with a power hungry, bitch of a dictator. Currently, the UN has signed a new resolution for inspectors, if Bush would let them inspect, that would be great. If not satisfied afterwards, then he could really bring up the issue of an attack, only if such weapons were found or saddam doesnt comply. Quite frankly, I dont give a shit if saddam attacked people in the US or attacked miltary personel, cause thats just how war is, but what i do give a shit about is when they, the Republicans, politicize a war. Locally, before the election, ads were placed as though if you did not vote for all this security shit, then you were evil. And what is so wrong about that is that they said this what not going to be politicized, but it was and continues to be. How does Bush get invloved with this, well, he too was ranting about those who did not vote in favor of an attack. I guess it is best to say that everybody has different opinions, and maybe reps and senators should vote by their people feelings on the situation like a rep is supposed to. wow, that was messed up.
Furthermore, the Reblicans and Bush especially seem so good is because all they are doing is taking security to the extreme. A whole new department for security? Nothing like throwing our rights out the window. As time progresses, the powers will be abused and freedom reduced. There is a balance, too much security=less freedom, that is what they are shooting for. When there is too little security, there is more freedom. But we are starting to cross where it is too much security and less freedom. Nothing in the US is not regulated in some way, and Bush is inclined to make that even more so, with all this shit that will restrict lives like we have never seen.
Kinda bouncing back to the war stuff. It sounds like the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, where false allegations were made to further support a war. This was the start of the Vietnam War, the Vietnamese fired at a ship and threaten more so we must attack, later proven to be a lie. Now the Bush administartion is claiming that, oh, Saddam is trying to aquire nukes... fine print, in 5+years, that hes financing AL Queida?? So the approach of Bush is what is disturbing.
Holy shit im gonna stop now.
