I am going to place my order for my skis for this winter. i was going to ep a pair of elan air twists because they are so cheep
but i keep reading that they are bad. are they worth the shop deal price, or should i get something else?

then fuck armada skis since there were made in the same factory, idk if they still are

elan is a dope company and is soo underratted, the MO2's or w.e they are, are dope ass skis

good try. but armada is not made in the elan factory so i sugust you take you advice and dont post stupid shit if you dont know what you're talking about. but so you know for the next time armadas are made in austria in the atomic factory.

haha but yeaaa elan skis are pretty fun just were a bit heavy but ski'd fine. if you can get em' cheap why not.

well since the last year they made ar5's through now they've been made from atomic thats all im sure about the 2 or 3 years before that idk ill ask russ next time he's in the shop. but anywho not really relivant i guess elan makes alot of stuff i love capita snowboards and elan makes them they make alot of snowboards and i liked the skis soo check them out if they suck sell em for what you bought them for

Have any of the people who bash elan ever skied on elan?
NS is probably not the best place for definitive answers regarding ski choice.
Your bound to get one kid who had a bad experience, or better yet a kid who read about a bad experience in another thread who will bash a company forever without ever giving them a chance.

Elan does make some great skis, and their plant in slovenia is one of the highest quality, especially when compared to stuff coming out of the chinese and spanish factories.  Besides they invented the system binding, and their fusion system is one of the best.  The reason there are so many bad reviews is that its a cheap ski, you get what you pay for.

I don't know why i'm replying to this 9 year old thread, but elan skis are pretty damn legit.  Ski them before you bash them.  The puzzles are really fun skis.  Quick, responsive, and poppy.

Elans skis are bomber proof, those of u bagging on them have obviously never skied them,there epic!  and next years line has everything, including a rockered park ski.
