i would imagine it isnt as amazing as you think it is..i would suspect that "nothing" is purely space just like the stuff in our galaxy but without stars or planets or naything...so instead of black with twinkly stars its justblack....which is actually terrifying to think about if you imagine being there....

if you really give a shit about specifics concerning your very cosmic questions i suggest a look into particle physics and molecular biology. Read a few of the works of alan turing, stephan wolfram, ray kurwiel. Then, on the other side, read every major religions holy book, i.e. Koran, Torah, Bible, Confuscious etc....and come up with your own answer after you pick out the parts from each that make the most sense to you.

nothing is something, there is no conceivable nothing, lack of air or elements doesnt mean nothing, there needs to be some sort of dimensions for this emptiness. space is infinite, think for a long time about what nothing is but there is always something that you think of whether it just be a big black area. so all in all nothingness cannot be achieved

true black is your minds interpratation of absolutly no light. That doesnt mean its nothinness. Example, if you go far into a cave, turn off your flashlight absolutly no light will reach you. everything is black. but your still standing on something, reach out and you still touch something.

We can not even begin to comprehend nothing. Its such an abstract idea. We exist in and translate with out minds a world of things. We can not comprehend what is outside of that world.

The closet thing we can ever come to understanding True nothingness what happens to an atheist's mind when he dies. He stops reciving information from his sensory organs about the world around him. He stops thinking alltogether. He ceases to exist. Only in that state could we ever understand true nothingness, but once someone reaches that state, there can be no understanding because that thought would be a something. Silence is a something. the absence of colour is a something. A vacume on your skin is a something. You can not escape somethings. and if you ever do escape something, you wont be able to realize it.

Then again, it is all because of the way we precive the world around us. which is determined by our chemical makeup. which is determined by certian laws of behaviour of particals... and no one knows why they behave the way that they do. Maybe they can chage how they act randomly like howearths magnetic norht and south randomly switch ever few thousand years.
