I was actually pleasantly surprised with Eminem's acting job. His part was well played. My only gripe was that the movie dragged on a bit. If they had made it about 30min shorter, and compressed some of the scenes, it would have been a top 10 movie. Well worth the money to see it though.

i actually think it should have been a little longer. it was a sweet movie and i didnt think about checking my watch once to see what time it was. the movie had my attention the entire time even though i had spent the last 4 hours in my car driving to killington to ski for the wknd. the battle scenes were dope and i think murphy was pretty bangin. must be nice to have brittney as your gf and basinger as your mom. anyways this movie gets a big 10 on the 1-10 hizzo meter.

I was so amped to go see this movie, then 1/4 the way through what a let down. This is probably one of the most over-rated, uninteresting, boring movies i've seen since auto-focus. Eminem's biopic, fist of all shouldn't have been played by himself who clearly demostrates he's not an actor rather a writer/performer. I was EXTREMELY disapointed with this film, because i felt the subject matter had SOO much more potential. I've you haven't spent the money to see it yet, spend it one another good film thats out now. I.E. Punch Drunk Love, Bowling for Columbine, White Oleander, Jackass.

CUBuff...it wasnt a biopic first of all. eminem clearly stated in an interview that the movies is meant to be totally fiction and nothing more.

That would be like JF Cusson starring in a movie about a skier. The story might be fiction, but its still gonna be percieved as his story. Kind of a dumb move.

I was definitely surprised with Eminem's acting...it was a pretty good movie. But yah I can see how some might of found it boring towards the end. The way it left you hanging kind of pissed me off too. But how funny was that cheddar guy or whatever?

man, your just taking the main part of his life, and when the movie has the same basis you say that it is his movie. thats pretty stupid, the whole line that u managed to sum the movie up in does not describe a movie enough in any form of detail for you to automatically assume that it is his story

I thought it also dragged on quite a bit and definitely had more potential. I would have liked it alot more if it had a little more of his real life in it, conflicts with his mom and so on...It was a little lengthy but the 'freestyles' and battles were decent.

he wasnt playing himself...he made it known that the movie was totally fiction and was not meant to mimic his life. for some reason everyone thinks its a biography flick. its just a movie...a good one at that.
