Lip tricks.

well, i kno that its kinda tough to do on skiis cuase of lack of places to do it, but u dont really see too many guys doing lip tricks. ou will see a handplant every now and then, but hey, i was thinking we could take it to the next level, anyone been doind any crazy shit on lips?

havent you seen all the stuff tanners doin. by buildin quarter pipes up aganist ledges. airn out and stallin on the lip. lip tricks can happen out of the pipe ya know.

thats cause nobodys putting sub boxes in winter halfpipes. if they would make an extensions or somthin, like you see skate boarders doin. then much more people would be doin lip tricks.

ya, if some more hills made like tose boxes like vail has it would sweet. and i kno it dont have to be in the pipe, thats why im askin if anyone is doin it like on ledges and shit..

They had a rail on the edge of the pipe in thredbo last year that was pretty sweet

When I see people go up a wallride type thing and stall, then 180 down, it looks so sick.

I think if people started doing those on huge stuff that would kick ass. Also stuff like Candide doing a 180 to stall to 360, that was real nice.

at mount snow a few years ago, they didnt have an extention, but they had a table set up on the lip of the pipe, so you could do shit off the top of the table

its harder to do lip tricks on skis because of the sooper long lengh. its not like a tiny skateboard or frootboots.

we were doin a little of that last year. loon had a little shitty rail on their and we were messin around on that but pipe lips are more fun. my fav is alley oop 270 stall to switch back in.

Also skateboarders have trucks, BMX has pegs etc. It's a lot harder to stall on a slipperier surface than they have to use with nothing to hold you there.

i know it's not a lip trick but why dont you see more skiers do nose presses? i think they look pretty sick. especially when you do them off of a cliff

our mountain let us set up a 20 ft rail at the top of the quarter pipe the last day the terrain park was open. i was pretty sick.

as for nose presses (and tail presses) alot of people up here have been doing those for a while.

we need to see more butters in my opinion.

yeah, there was a picnic table set up on the lip of our pipe one year, i guess it could be considered a lip trick when you jib it

i see jon olsson and nick mercon fuck around on the lips at the bottom of pipes. like theyll go up and spin on their tips, or do stalls to fakie, nothin special though

skateboards can do lip tricks and stuff because the lip is made of metal skis don't slide very good sideways on snow.
There is nothing motherly about mother nature. Except for her big mountainous breasts.

i think it would be sick if some mountain put coping all down the lip of their pipe, like a skateboard half-pipe. then we could go up and grind it like 300 ft or however long the pipe was... and by we i mean someone much better than me
