So me, not being a religious smoker altogether, had no real preconception of Amsterdam (where pot and pretty much every drug except heroin is legal) as being fucking awesome but I found it out to be an amazing experience. It was so strange to be there and also how even though weed is legal it's not really a problem there, it's pretty controlled and it's way fucking potent which is awesome.

I was just wondering if anyone here's actually spent time in the "coffee shops" of amsterdam.

yea ill be going to germany in august, and were im going in germany is 20 minutes away from the netherlands and like an hour from amsterdam, o and to make it better ill be with a kid my age not my rents. Woot.

skaski, are any smokers "religious smokers"? seems to me most religious people are against any and all things that are fun and or delicious so me thinks they should steer right clear of amsterdam. That being siad I'm glad you enjoyed the place they've got the right idea over there. Lastly I'm more than a little loaded so my views in no way represent anything other than my own drunken views, if you don't like them then call me and tell me to stop drinking, I probably won't comply but at least your concience (sorry I can't spell when I'm on the sauce) will be clear

yepp, amsterdam is like a heaven place for smokers..... you can get maps, where all the coffeeshops are signed in and it shows u the best way to go through town checking all of those shops,.. and in them you have such a big choice on the menu..weed, mushrooms,... ..and u even can found automats u put money in and get joints out- but i cant recommend, to less weed in them ..

I want to move to amsterdam, even though I smoke and like sex the city alone was such a nice place, then you put the weed and the strip joints and mix and you have a remarkable place.

Don't buy the pre-rolled joints there. Not as much weed and they roll them Euro style - with tabacco. It's best to buy your own, roll it, smoke it, then check out the parks and museums.
