how are these skis? they look like theyre gonna be an affordable ski but similar to the karmas. plus volkls getting better at their skis. so whats the deal with these skis i guess

it's replacing the expression, i'd describe it as a lower end karma maybe
i know someone who skied on the prototypes of them last year and he said they were ill, far better than the expression

Its just their new park ski. Looks good. Graphics are ok, good width,u can trust volkl to build a strong ski.

If i weren't a poor college kid, i would upgrade from my expressions to the Dogen. I love the look, and the dimensions seem much improved.

The Dogen is very similiar to the Public Enemy of last year. Very responsive in all conditions and a much more durable ski than the expression. K2 helped Volkl out on this one. Great ski for the money. Here is the link to the '06 Volkl Dogen
