K2...Bikes?

I mos def need a new mountain bike and I was recently searching through the K2 site and noticed that they make bikes. Ever used them/know people who do, and if not, other good companies for mountain bikes?

have one, it runs smoothly but i wouldn't trust its durability on a hardcore trail. But i got a cheap one, they probably make more top-of-the-line models than mine

ive had a k2 bmx race bike for about 11 years in my family...hasnt broken yet! (to my knowledge)

i work at my local shop, if your looking for a good trail bike then check out bikes sutch as the giant trance, the jamis dakar, santacruz blur, intense 5.5, and the santa cruz heckler. if your looking for a good XC bike look at the trek fuel, the titus racer x and of course the santacruz superlight, and intense spyder. if ur looking for a good downhill race bike check out models from giant, and santa cruz, intense, and the orange 223. if ur looking for a freride bike check out the santacruz vp free, intense uzzi vpx, orange patroit, and of course check out the kona stinky. if u want any more advice IM me at SKIBUM4973 (aim), or send me a message on NS

Yeah you looking for a XC bike definatly look at the Trek fuel EX 7. So much good stuff for a good price

i love my k2...im not super intense but ive done some stuff with guys that have like 2000 dollar bikes and its managed just fine

k2 is still going strong in the bike world, but there deff not cream of the crop stuff, actually, no where close

how about something thats not you know like 2000 dollars the dakar sport is like the cheapest bike outta that list. very good bikes don't get me wrong i like the blur 4X but i don't think ne 1 has that much money on this site

i also recomended the giant trance3 models, the jamis dakar models, the trek fuel models. but now that u remind me i forgot the models from cannondale (the prophet series), and the dawg and coiler series from kona, and also the trek fuel EX series, and liquid series

get the GT chucker 1.0 the bike is sick and it is a good durable jumping bike and down hill bike it is $550 but its a great bike
