i dont know where you live, but in your phone book it should have the number you call to block another number, youll call it, then youll have to put in the number you want to block...i think it costs like 2$ or something..i dont remember. you can do it yourself though, no need to involve the cops or phone company.

Any response is gratification to him so for the time being get caller ID (if you don't, just pay for it, it's not very expensive - if it's your cell, you may not be able to block him, but you can use auto-answer -> 'full mailbox'. Or you can answer on speakerphone and record his talking, then send the audio to the authorities, have him brought in and voicematched.

You don't have to destroy him completely but you've not given him the msg yet, so best to let him know you're not going to take it
