Whistler in August/September

So I live in Baltimore, Maryland. my sister and her fiance, who also live here, are planing to get married on top of whister/blackcomb (not really sure which). so, this means a nice little vacation for me to go to whistler. The wedding is scheduled for August 27. is there any skiing kinda shit going on up there that time of year? please tell me there is, i dont think i could take going to the biggest resort ive ever been to, and not skiing. it would seriously make me want to kill myself.
i know you guys are just gonna say they should reschedule the wedding for some time in the winter, and i totally agree that they should, but i think theyve already booked everything. besides i think theyre getting ready to move to denver soon afterwards so i dont think moving it back would work.
just tell me theres gonna be snow

stop being so selfish. don't get a person to reschedule THEIR wedding solely to suit your needs. you'll find shit to do, I keep busy living up here and I don't ski the glacier at all. you can bike, chill at one of many lakes, hike, skateboard and more.

nah im not being selfish at all. her fiance is real big into boarding. like hes done heli drops in BC and goes up to whistler 2 weeks a year, hood a week a year and killington a couple weeks, so im sure he would prefer to be able to board too.
and its not like im not gonna go anyway, i was just really lookin forward to some sick whistler action, such an opportunity doesnt come along for me too often. like, ever
