Saw a bear..

I was working today(self employed land scaping)and i was shoveling some dirt in to a bucket thing and i looked up and there was a bear 30 feet from me. It was a big ass black bear and it scared the shit out of me. I ran inside of these peoples cuase it was just walking at me house and they start screaming but it just kept walking past the house and into the woods.

i just got home from canada where we saw 4 bears in 2 days two grizlies from the car and then i walked around a turn in a trail ant there were two big black bears about 15 feet from me. i think my heart stopped for a good minuet and then i just started backing up untel they went into the woods

you haven't seem a bear until you've one of them big mutha fuckin Alaskan Kodiak Grizzly Bears. they're the biggest bears on earth.

I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.

I wanted to see a bear so bad while I was in whistler. everyday on the lift I was like 'hmm maybe I'll see one today' but noooooooooo I never saw one. I'm sad now, because I've only seen them in zooos. bears are sweet

yea last summer in whistler...i was walking to work, half alseep at 730am....and i was walking down the normal path, through the condos, then i was about to turn the corner, and i see this cyclist stopped about 10 feet away just staring at something....i didnt think it was anything so i kept walking...turned the corner, looked up and there was this brown bear eating berries from the tree.....i stopped, looked at it...thought oh crap...thats a bear....the bear looked at us, then turned back to the berries. so i turned around and went another way to work that day. it was a cute bear.

Cfaller, you could not be farther from the truth. If you truley believe that, then you are fucking retarded. Come up here to Montana and try petting a black bear, or fucking with it. Don't make up shit that you have no idea about, because if you think that black bears are harmless, you should just stop talking. You do realize that those "harmless" black bears can weigh up to 400 pounds, have the ability to climb trees, and can run faster than any human. All you have to do is piss one of them off and your day just got a whole lot shittier.

dont play dead if you see a black bear you idiot, scare it away. they are afraid of humans. basically.
when they were building the night pipe at whistler last year i saw a black bear walking up and down the walls. it was sick, i think he did an allyoop 3.
the only time you should worry about black bears is when they have a cub. so if there is one behind your friends house with her cub, its not a good idea to follow them aroudn and sneak up to them and spook them. trust me

i was at mammoth 2 weeks ago......camping that the rv park in a tent with my two buddies. at about 4 in the am, i heard a loud crash (cooler) outside our tent.....i wasnt sure if i was dreaming or if it really happened.....but then i heard footsteps outside the tent.....i thought it was a dog.....but i opened up the door and it was a grizzly.....i was like holy shit and i woke up my friends. it looked at us and jus walked away. there were signs for bears but i didnt take em seriously. it was pretty tight seeing this thing like 5 ft from us though
