final cut express is good for $300 if you have mac, but adobe premier is really the only thing for windows

i got mine off of bearshare. im sure you could get it from kazaa (i would never trust kazaa at all) limewire, or any P2P program like that. id say get it from bearshare

the most advanced software is final cut pro, but its really hard to crack and its a lot of $. if you have a decent budget, you might be able to get it on a academc discount. its the best of all the softwares out there.

ok just get adobe photoshop, adobe illustrator for your photos...you'll probably need them to create logos or retouch some shoot...even for doing green screen without green screen...its just fucking long to do it...for your editing software...you can get adobe premiere 6.5 or adobe premiere pro...personally i find that adobe premiere pro is easier to understand than premiere 6.5...if you have a mac...you can also get final cut pro...if you really want to be creative...you can get adobe after effects to do a lot of things...like 3d animation for exemple...ulead media studio pro 7.0 is kool cuz you it's a 5 in 1 software...there's a video editor, a title creator, an audio editor, something to paint video (all the frames of the shot are seperated and you can paint them all to create something) and the last one is to capture video from you camcorder...
