I have some old crappy skis that i want to use around the yard for jibbing. Anyone have some useful tips for tipping the backs up so they are twintipped?

I only know the basics.... fire the tails up nice and hot with a blowtorch or other such suitable device, then use a big pair of pliers or something to turn them up. Once you've got them in shape, stick them in some cold water for quite a while while they cool... then put rivets around the edges to give them stability.

just for the back yard, i dont think u need to waist your time twin tipping them, but beforei had money to buy skies, i just used a hair dryer that went realy hot.. it worked... and i sugest u buy some real twin tips, if your looking into practincing the sport a lot this winter

i have twin tips but i just use some non-twin tip older skis around the yard because i usually don't have a lot of snow and my twins would get scratched
