Like lineskier said. It can be done, but I wouldn't suggest it. IT can strip the holes and you will need to reglue them in.

I would refrain from removing them unless it is totally necessary. If it is (which i somewhat doubt) then when you put the bindings back, be cautious.

wats wrong with just leaving the bindings on the skis? or if you need something done have a shop do it that away if something gets messed up its thier problem

from my past experiences with bindings, some screws look like phillips head but they arent. they are special wierd ass screws and it would be better to take it to a ski shop so you dont strip them

John brought up a very good point to add to the fact that stripping the holes is very likely, his addition that they are special screws is another crucial point.

The screws are posi-drive, not regular phillips and can strip the heads easy if you use a reg phillips on them.

yeah I know what you mean, they look like phillips but arent...get the shop to do it if its totaly nessecary

Yea I have a posi-drive screwdriver, but Im thinking its too risky from what ive heard so im not going to do it. I have Atomics and they have this gay plate that I wanted to paint red(the color of my skis) but I probly wont do it now

dude it isn't that big of a deal, as long as you know how to work a screw driver. the key is this, (and this is just my opinion, and in no way am i suggesting that you can do this, so now you can't sue me if you die) use a possi drive #3 phillips, and unscrew the screw. paint the gay atomic plate, but dont get paint in the whole. then screw the binder back on. the key is to put one in a bit, then the screw diagnol to it, then the other two. now put all screws in all the way diagnoly, then tighten them again diagnoly. the key is to not force them in. at first just let the screw catch the threads it had made before.

oh and glue is primarily use as a lubricant for puting the screw in.

also just so you kiddies know. pros do this all the time. granted they get free skis.

again take your skis to a shop if you want to be totaly sure.
