I noticed such a great difference between N. Americain / European music to Indian music. Here it is pretty frowned upon if a band doesn't right their own music. In India music is completely manufactured. Music is written by one person, sung by another, and them it's performed by yet another person. The Indian concerts literally have Bollywood (second larges film industry in the world) actors lip sing at the front of the stage, while the actual singer stands at the back. The composer is nowhere to be seen.
I just found it kind of interesting at how what is completely normal and acceptable in Asia, is totally frowned upon here.
