i think its gonna be switch stuff, switch everthing ( cliff drops, switch stuff in the pipe) i know we already have those but its just gonna get even more technical

the funniest part is what we see in ski movies is from this past year, so what we see next we think is progression but its from the year before, and by the time we have a decent discussion its changed again and pros are throwing all different

i think the next trick is more emphasis on flat spins, in big air. I personally hate the d-spin now, because it ruins so many competitions, one person throws it, then the others feel pressured into doing so as well.

I think we're coming towards a plateau of what is possible (wihtout just adding another 180), as there aren't many more axises (axii?) to spin on that haven't been done already. So what I think we'll see more of in the future is more vaiations on what we already have been throwing (switch, unnatural, reverse/opposite etc). How about an unnatural switch corked 7 reverse blunt?

And whoever posted about a 90-backflip-90, that's just a rodeo variation - some people throw them like that.

I agree with the person who said skiing will go in all directions.
Why do some of you guys think skiing's future would be limited to one facet? slow stylish spins? I like them alot, but I also see big spins in it's future.
Greg Tuffelmire threw a cork 12 in the pipe.
Yeah it was hucked and yeah hucked spins probably have little future, but whose to say a cork 12 will not get improved upon?
Someone could style it out and keep it in control.
But it takes a leader like GT to first try it.

The first 7 was hucked, but look how stylish they have become. It took one person to throw it in competition and land it, and everyone followed and improved upon it.

big spins arent gonna die. A big spin will impress everyone. In comps they'll stay because of the difficulty factor. Style isnt everything in a comp. People will definitely go bigger with the spins and add style to them too. Whats with bringing back the old posts?

Ok, obviously skiing won't all be about the smooth slow spins big jumps but what people are trying to say but are misarticulating themselves is what they think the FORTE of skiing will be next season, it's like clothes, they're are new trends every year but I mean just because everyone wants to wear NS hoodies now, that doesn't mean they aren't going to sport some pants and shoes too, you know what I'm saying?

meh...in the next few years, there will be more 'new' tricks, but pretty soon, there wont be anymore ways to spin/flip. so we will start doing them BIG, like tables the size of chads gap, and all slow and shit. And do them switch, and unnatural...
