You just need to spread the table salt out much wider than the big chunks of salt. If you put a big film of salt, it'll probably melt most of the snow instead of just freezing it.

can salting jumps work for ice rink snow for when it's 90 degrees outside? Im getting ice rink snow tom. for my backyard rail and I might make a jump up to my rail, but I won't have much snow and it will be really hot. So I only have table salt(maybe rock salt or something), but will it just melt almost all of it, or will it melt some ice so it can refreeze and harden?

Salting the arena snow still works fine.
People have told me that when they salt an in run in the middle of summer it's almost solid ice.
