hey, i have the same skis, and mounted them at freeride, and believe me, that is really close to center, and perfect for everything. If you're gonna use them everywhere which is what I did, I think the freeride position will be fine. I bought mine mainly for big mountain skis, but ended up skiing park with them all spring, and they worked fine.

ya i dont really ski park toomuch , and i have scratches for that. i want these for everywhere else. also im about 6'2-3ish, 190 lbs, i put a pair of 187s on lay away, would those be a wise choice or would the 180s be better? just checkin i dont wanna buy the wrong size

yeah dude, do not center mount them, i have the 170s and they are at center and i really wish they weren't

definately do the 187s dude. I'm 6' and 180lb and I'm getting the 190 VCTs next year just because I want a little bigger ski. The 187s are big, but they're light for their size and you'll love the extra length for skiing outside the park. I've tried the 180s too, and they just feel a little too short.
