Drugs and anti-depressants

so your not supposed to drink when your taking anti-depressants (well, drink much at least) but what about smoking? i didnt really want to ask my doctor "hey, can i smoke weed with this shit" neone tried or know people who have?

yeah well im being forced to stop drinking, and smoking doesnt kill braincells, it alters brain chemisty. but seriously im really curious to know.

dude, all i can say is definitely do not drink while on them, i know one kid that got so fucked up and paranoid from that, it was ridiculous, he seemed like he had like 3 personalites too

no one "official" is ever going to solicit smoking weed, but i will, or at least, i am on anti-depressants and i smoke and it's fine.

oh shit i didnt think about that... my mom makes me take them in the morning But im not gona take them anymore cause Im not depressed at all, i think im pretty enthusiastic. How long does that shit stay in your system? Cause i plan to go to a party on friday and i dont want to get fucked up from the chemicals mixing with acholol in the depressants

he speaks the truth. i am on 'em too (300's of Effexor. used to me lexapro, wllbeutrin and somehting else) and i smoke and drink. when i switch meds i can feel a difference in my tolerance level with alcohol, but with weed its all the same pretty much. its just fine, dont worry about it.

you cant just stop taking them, it will make you sick and whatnot, you have to gradually reduce your dossage over a period of time.

Yeah easter if your on anti-depressants like Straterra if you just go cold turkey it can make you unexpectantly go into seizures and totally lose conscouisness at anytime, and you can get some serious problems, people actually die from it, usually cuz they pass out while driving, but you'll feel fine than BAM. but anti depressants aren't just for depressed people, they work as a mild A.D.D. drug by slowing down your thoughts and keeping you in order, and if you are really hyper and crap they slow you way down. And it won't hurt you to smoke weed, its actually almost the same thing, weed is actually a parallel drug to what you are taking. Theres actually a drug market for anti dpressants, you can sell ridilin and straterra for like 5 bucks a pill these days.
