If you're good at making sauces.. definitely some spaghuetti with some tomato sauce... make sure you marinate the sauce and add spices. add two glasses of wine and youre set. + bread.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:
if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5

boiling some pasta is always a safe bet, and a very hard thing to screw up unless you boil too long or not enough... then just add sauce (pesto if your cool) and some grated cheese... throw some bread with melted butter/garlic... and BAM, you have a mediocre dinner your gf will appreciate.

make sphaghetti. easiest fucking thing. get regular sphaghetti noodles and boil a pot of water. make sure you put olive oil in the water so it won't bubble over. when the water gets boiling put all the noodles in. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP STIRRING otherwise they will clup together and taste like shit. when the noodles get bendy and shit and seem like they might be done, take one out and taste it.

for the sauce just get a can. get prego. not ragu or any of that nasty shit. empty the whole can into a bowl and microwave it. make sure you put a paper towel over it so it doesn't splatter all over. cook it for a good five minutes and stir it occasionally so the side don't burn. then just put the noodles on the plate, and put the sauce on the noodles. grate up some motzarella cheese and put it on top of the sauce to make it look good.

you could also cook the sauce in a pot on the stove while you are cooking the sphaghetti noodles. just let it simmer on medium heat and go back and fourth between stirring the noodles and sauce. it should take about 20 minutes to cook the whole meal. good luck man. don't fuck up.

I must prove all you wrong who said that anyone can make pasta. Well my moron brother decided he wanted to have some pasta. So instead of getting scissor to open the bag he used a knife. Him being an official moron jabbed the knife through the bag and not paying attention sliced his finger open. He had to go get stiches and be laughed at by both myself and my dad for a straight week. So there ya go not everyone can manage to make pasta.

Pick up take-out put it in the oven to keep it warm, have her sit down with candles, low light etc - go to the kitchen put it on a dinner plate and serve her with your best manners.... everything will be good after that and there won't be much to clean up, she appreciate a good meal and there will still be plenty of time for.............

Easy mac = bad idea. in fact pasta is so simple it stinks of "I don't give enough of a shit about you to actually prepare a nice meal."

If you want something fast and manly, BBQ something. Like burgers or chicken. If you don't have a BBQ then I suggest steak (and get your rents to buy it for you! haha) Cuz steak tastes awesome and girls generally think it's romantic when a guy makes steak for them.
