alright, i like reformated my shit tonight on my laptop, and everything worked fine, backed up all the stuff i wanted, and its pretty much ready to go, except for my screen isnt taking up the whole monitor. it is just like floating right in the middle, how do i make it bigger so it takes up the whole monitor? thanks

start pushin all the buttons on ur monitor to adjust it. it could be a funkified resolution you're using too. LCD or CRT?

^i tried hitting that lcd/tr-something button, and it just like refreshed it. and there isnt any buttons on the monitor its a laptop.

if there is no buttons on the outside right click on the desktop and click properties and just look around there.

yea and change it to the max resolution, thats usually where the native is at.

check ur video drivers, it might not even be installed, therefore prohibiting you from setting to native resolution. just an idea

device manager - right click my computer > properties > hardware tab > device manage

or

start > run > type in "devmgmt.msc" > hit enter

check to see if you have any little yellow question mark things

yeah my video controller has a question mark, i gotta connect to the internet to look for shit to fix it but i will get back to you on what i find.

I had the exact same problem when I reformatted my laptop, so I found the CD that came with my laptop with all of the drivers on it, I installed the drivers, then I was good to go...search around for that CD, it is very helpful.

haha yeah i went to some other computer website and asked and they told me to do that, right now its loading the drivers and is at like 78%, thanks
