Most embarassing ski moment?

I was trying fdf and I am really bad at rails, so I fall and take a few moments to get myself together and ski away. While I was still next to the rail getting my poles, this guy was doing a line and I got in his way. I felt pretty stupid, because I shouldn't even have tried the fdf in the first place.

Getting knocked off a catwalk by locals at Alta and rolling non-stop for almost a minute down a real steep pitch. I had stopped right in the middle of a long traverse to check out a line, a bunch of people had been building up speed behind me to try shoot all the way across the bowl. Instead of letting me slow them down one of them just pushed me out of the way. That was when i learned not to stop in the middle of a catwalk, step up or step down.

wow. both those aren't even that good. What about falling off the lift. hitting someone while skiing switch. hitting some one while skiing forwards. falling doing tricks to show off. having your ski fall off for no reason. Or forgetting to wear pants to class.

Come on.. I have at least one story for each of those. ha. plus many more.

having your ski brake not come down after a fall and watching your ski go all the way down the hill to try to ski with one ski all the way down to get it. falling in front of the lfit

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

my friend forgot his snowpants one day, and had to ski in his long johns...

in the same day 3 of my friends had run ins with the chairlift, first guy his bag got stuck and he got dragged, second guy went the wrong way and got hit from the chair after it went around, and third guy forgot to lift bar and had to bail when it was coming around

ive randomly had my ski fly off while skiing switch fast, which never ended well...also a bunch of other stupid shit while i was showin off on lil bunny hills

i accidently pulled the plug on a t-bar once...dont ask

I was showing off to my friends, doing a huge nose press on flat ground when my ar5s, with a low din, popped off and I ejected out of my bindings and then the skis flew up, hit me in the face, and I landed on them.

oh oh... pre releasing off a small jump and then looking over and seeing my ARV flying next to me. I then grabbed it in mid air b/c I didn't want it to hit me in the face when I came down.. then preceeded to land on it and it almost broke my arm. And people were definitely watching. hehe.

There was a halfpipe contest 2 seasons a go.
I was standing on the side watching, then me and my friends decided to go skiing somewhere else. I tried to do a switch 180 off the side and ate shit. My ski came off and the brake didn't come down. My ski when all the way down the hill and into some trees. All these patrollers where asking me if i wanted to borrow one of their skis to ski down. I was like "oh nah i'll be right" They must of thought i was the biggest tool. I was sooo cut.

Eating shit under the chairlift also

when the big park was closed one day i was just lapping through the pussy park with some buds and we came up to the huge boxes that were on the same level as the snow and they were like 2 feet wide (really just a sheet of metal on the snow) and im like ya just slide over this piece of cake....only i go up to it and i dont know what im thinking.....i just blanked out and i slide it unnatty and im totally caught off guard..i fall back and eat the harshest shit EVER. and this was right beside the chair too i felt super duper cool

skiing pow on a reaaaally foggy day, under the chair, i didnt see the 3 foot drop to 45 degree upslope and i basically went over the handlebars and did a frontflip(double ejected). it took me like 3 minutes to get my skis but oh what three minutes can make when everyone is watching.

I had been chatting with this hot lifty all day when i was lapping the park. At the end of my last run, I ski past the bottom of the lift, and i ask her if she was doing anything that night, and if she wanted to go for a drink.

Se said she was meeting her boyfriend so couldn't blah blah, basically blew me out. That was embarassing enough, but to top it off, as I skied away, I went to pop a 180 off a little lip, and totally ate shit. Looked back and she was dying laughing at me.

I tried not to ride that lift too much anymore!

first time i started to teach my friends some freestyle, showed them how to pop, my Din was on 2 by mistake and i "popped" clean out of my bindings and left my ski's on the kicker. Smooth.

at high north last year on the big table over atkinson, turpin and shane i did a huge backflip ball grab and, was just looking at them instead of my landing and i landed pretty low on the tranny and over rotated. that was sweet. they just shook there heads and laughed

lol, that happens to me all the time, i just randomnly just lose my balance and there i am tryin to recover with swingin poles and flailing big time. Falling when skiing switch is bad, like when ur tryin to show off.

one time i was skiing through the trees on the side of a major run and there was an orange fence set up but i crossed it anyway. so i keep going but am not really paying attention. then out of nowhere i drop like 15 feet into this big ditch with a ton of snow in it. It took me about 20 minutes to get out and find all of my stuff while people laughed at me from the lift that was nearby. it was pretty embarrassing.

going switch as fast as possible down to the lift after the park, and hitting a roller, while trying a switch butter 3, landing way backseat way further than i thought i would have gone, got a concussion and cracked my helmet. To top if off, i didnt even know i had cracked the helmet, so i skied for another hour or so, and had to quit becaue of the concussion

i was super hung over(still drunk) and was in training at a dual mogul event.... I hit the top air, fucked up, landed on my ass and SHARTED....yes i landed and a lovely bit of Poo came out my ass.... i had to B line it to the lodge and take care of that in a hurry......

skiing a small bowl at heavenly, and when i was hiking out i had my helmet slid onto my skis that were over my shoulder. when i took my skis off my shoulder, i didn't catch the helmet in time. so it proceeded to slide down the rest of the face which went to the very bottom of the backside. i dove for it and missed by about a foot and then watched it keep sliding while being able to do nothing.

so the rest of the day i had to ski with no helmet looking like some kind of stein erikkson, and i got mad sun burned

one time, in colorado, i didnt think that one of the lifts was going to be as fast as it was and i slid off the seat and ended up having to hang on to the chair lift until the lifties could help nd other people were still waiting in line

back in the day when i was just get my skills i had the chance to ride up the lift with the best skier at the hill well i was triying to act cool and wasnt payeing eny attention so when the chare got there it hit me in the laeg and i buckled and feel in frunt of it and win it was all sead in done i dident even get to go up the lift with him

Falling on the T-bar on Blackcomb in front of like 40 people. Also doing flatground nosepresses, when both skis pop out. Trying a 540 over a table, one of my skis popped off, the brake broke, and my friend had to catch it as it was rocketing down the hill, in view from 2 chairlifts.

it was a powder day and i thought i saw what looked like a little booter no one had hit, so i go full speed to take it, my skis go right through and i find out it's a rock. my skis both eject and I did a frontflip over the rock like a ragdoll and land on my face, right beside the west bowl t-bar.

Yah, the ski falling off for no reason and making you fall and hitting someone switch always suck.

I just got off the lift and a bunch of us, guys and hot ladies, were skiing and I was just fucking around and pressing the nose and tail of my skis and buttering around, and my god damn Salomon binding came loose again. And I fell. That was dumb.

And skiing around switch on groomers and then hitting people is actually really funny.

when i was 12, i was skiboarding 4 life. i was riding up the HIGH SPEED rope tow, watching the people in the park; not paying attention to the mexican kid in front of me. anyhow, he let go or something, stood motionless. i then proceeded to ram him in the asshole with my entire body. i was like "SORRY MAN", my underbite shivering. im lucky that spick didnt cut my belly open.

Forgot my snowpants and didnt have time to go back to get them, it looked way wack and oldschool. Also once I just got on the chair and started swinging my ski before the chair got high enough so I caught on the ground and belly flopped off the chair, then my friend jumped off and said wtf?

I have the winner...

two years ago at alta I was in the middle of a multiple meter snow storm...and caught the illest stomach virus ever...you know the type...shit comming out of every hole...so anyhow..I dropped a small 15-footer and lost a ski...started hiking around and then voltron formed in my tummy!!!! had to make a snow toilet in the middle of an open snow field with people ripping by...couldn't make it down in time to destroy the lodge's bathroom... Man who ever caught a face shot of my brown powder must have been bummed....
