im getting a mac and i wanna know if pro will work on a powerbook g4, some guy told me i need dual processors to run pro and that i need a bigger mac

Based on what? Most people who just wanna do some editing really dont need FCP. The express version is pretty good, dont lett the "express" name fool you. Have you done any editing before, what are you going to edit, professional stuff or just like a ski movie with friends?

final cut pro will work on your powerbook, but be sure to have a lot of RAM and a pretty large hard drive, or else you,re gonna cry.

you dont need a jazzy computer to edit. you just need patients. I got a 1.06 mghz 512 ram ghetto machine and it edits, you just have to find somethign to do for the hours it takes to render, ha
