Farewell disaster

My friend (ns sn: axle) is going away for the summer to a camp about 3 hours away from so me and 7 other friends decided to go for a little canoe trip as a farewell outing. It was about 45 degrees out and it was raining, but we didn’t give a shit, we were out to have fun. From the start we had been messing around and were flipping each others canoes and shit, then we stopped and jumped off this pretty huge bridge and got started back. We came to a place with a little fall and a bunch of rapids. One of my friends kinda freaked out and they ended up going down the falls sideways. The canoe get jammed up against a boulder and they were stuck there, on a rock with the canoe getting warped to shit by the force of the water pushing it up against the rock. They tried breaking it free but there was no way. After about and hour if not more of trying to get to them but being swept away from the current, along with being FROZEN, a few friends went and got a motor boat. Once they got up to them they anchored and all went to push the boat out, it finally got loose and then we had to look at the damage. There was a huge dent that was also creased so this thing cannot be fixed. My friends dad was pissed about the canoe and we still have no idea what we’re gonna do with it. What was supposed to be a fun farewell trip turned into a disaster, but it was still fun as hell.
