I like the art on the right ski, but having one ski almost plain reminds me too much of last years's scratch BC's.

Ok, it does (to me) seem a little weird for Armada to be pushing a skier such as Anthony (with a largley park-based background) to have a pro-model such as the ANT...
But then again, maybe Anthony is going to come out and prove to everyone that he is a damn accomplished big-mountain skier. I'd say to just wait and see.

I dont find it odd at all shasta, seeing as how every company right now has an enormous soft and stiff bigmtn ski to choose from its a smart move on armadas part. I own the jp vs. juliens and they're great for pow but when the resorts beat out but u still wanna go fast those skis just dont have the flex or power to ride thru all that stuff w/ ease. the ANT is considerably stiffer from wut i hear and that will put armada into the big mtn realm along w/ the volkl gotama, dynastar pro 11000, you get my drift?

Anthony spends more time in the backcountry than pretty much anybody.

anthony definetely isn't a park rat. i remember all his old segments were just urban and park and for the last 2 years or so he's almost all big mtn booters and shit. he only had 1 rail in X. all he does anymore is ride his sled and hit big mtn it seems like. i think he's the perfect person to have a ski like this

what is a big mtn booter? building a jump in the backcountry is not big mountain skiing.

^Exactly.
I'm not saying that Anthony cannont hit the backcountry - his part in X proves that he can.
However, given that the ski is so stiff/wide/huge, it seems to me to be better suited being associated with a skier such as Sage or Treadway - someone who is known to hit gnarly big mtn lines at high speed.
Obviously it can (and should) also be used for hitting backcountry booters, however, it does seem to be aiming at something larger than that. "Designed for charging steep lines..." suggests this.
I know when I said that Anthony has a "largely park-based background", that it was a pretty stupid comment, but what I meant by it was that he isnt a noted big mtn skier.
Thus, to sum up (again), it seems odd to me that Armada are using a skier such as Anthony to push a ski such as the ANT. It would make more ssense to me if he was going for a ski like the JP v Julien - a wide ski that is a little more forgiving, obviously made for hitting those backcountry booters.

nigga please, the new pollards (elizabeth) are like 113 at the waist or something, i dont think the ant is gonna be wider than that.

ANT in my opinion is the first and only graphic that Armada has that blows any other ski away.
