Replying to Outdoor Camera...HELP!

Im looking for a new camera,which is good outdoors.The main cameras i was looking at are the Sony DCR-HC90,Sony DCR-PC1000,Canon Optura 60,Canon Optura Xi,and the Panasonic PV-GS150/250.I will mainly be filming skiing and wakeboarding.Almost no indoor activities,mainly all outdoor.Ive only got to see the Pansonic GS150/250 and the Canon Optura 60.I was also wondering if i should save some cash and go for a Canon ZR400 and put more money towards an editing software?What editing software do you reccomend?Thanks
