Replying to Judging
should there be some set guidlines. For instance, if someone barely lands a 1080 with a quick grab in a big air comp, leans way back on the landing put doesn't touch down with anything, and the next guy throws a bigger, steezier 9, with a real long grab, and stomps the shit out of the landing, i give the nod to the 9,
but what if was a 1260 and a 5 instead of the above situation,
i guess what i'm asking is should a few rules like, " for this comp any 10 beats any five," be set specifically for big air, and they could change from comp to comp depending on judges preferences, so there isn't so much descrepency about the scores afterwards. I guess it would restrict some riders from doing the tricks they had planned, but judging is so vague in this sport right now, i think anything would help
"Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is?"
